Shipping Policy
Every piece from Leopold Woodworks is either handmade to order, built in small batches, or offered as a ready-made item. Because of that, shipping timelines can vary depending on the type of order.
1. Order Processing Times
In-stock items typically ship within 1–2 business days.
Custom projects and made-to-order items typically require 1–2 weeks before shipment, depending on project scope, finish selection, and current workload.
Processing times are separate from shipping transit times.
2. Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size of the item, destination, and shipping method selected.
International shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
3. Domestic Shipping
We ship within the United States using available carrier options shown at checkout. Delivery times may vary based on the shipping destination and the carrier selected.
Once an order has shipped, Leopold Woodworks is not responsible for carrier delays, weather interruptions, or other transit issues outside our control.
4. International Shipping
International shipping may be available on select items. Buyers are responsible for all shipping charges, customs fees, import duties, taxes, and any other charges associated with international delivery.
If you are outside the United States and interested in placing an order, please send an inquiry before purchasing to confirm shipping availability.
5. Local Delivery
Local delivery is available within 50 miles of Whittier, California for a $150 delivery fee.
If local delivery applies to your order, details will be arranged directly after purchase or during the custom order process.
6. Local Pickup
Local pickup is available by arrangement at:

Pickup details will be confirmed once your order is ready.
7. Delays
Because many items are handmade, occasional delays may occur due to build complexity, material availability, finish curing time, or order volume. If there is a significant delay affecting your order, we will do our best to communicate updates.
8. Incorrect Shipping Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping and delivery information at checkout. Leopold Woodworks is not responsible for delays, losses, or additional fees caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information.
9. Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label so we can review the issue. If the damage is confirmed, we will work to repair or replace the item as appropriate.
10. Custom Orders and Shipping Timelines
Custom orders begin once the 50% non-refundable deposit has been received and all project details have been approved. Estimated completion and shipping timelines for custom work are provided as good-faith estimates and may vary based on the specifics of the project.
